Platch LTE 4G compact low profile compact antenna

The Platch LTE 4G compact low profile antenna is designed for height-critical applications. It is ideal for pit lid, ground-level and discreet LTE/4G applications where a reduced-height antenna is required.

Measuring a shade over 100mm in diameter and just 14mm in height, the Platch LTE antenna is truly compact. It is fed by a RG174 cable  and SMA-Male connector exiting from the underside and is mounted via 3 mounting holes. The antenna is incredibly robust and is fully sealed and waterproof and suitable for installation in harsh environments. It offers a peak gain of 2.88 dBi.

Suitable for low-level applications, meter-pit lids, parking, datalogging and utilities applications, it is ideally mounted onto a groundplane (antenna data measured on a 500x500mm groundplane).

WCO-FLY 868 915 MHz waterproof compact omni antenna

The WCO-FLY 868 915 MHz antenna is a permanent mount antenna with an integrated IPEX (U.FL) cable. Based on our WCO (waterproof compact omni) antenna platform, this model can be supplied at either 868 MHz or 915 MHz frequency bands (other frequencies may be possible). Mounting via a threaded stud with o-ring to provide a watertight seal, the antenna can mate to radios/modules that have a U.FL antenna connector.

The antenna is housed in an UV-resistant sheath which is robustly attached is a modified N-type connector based facilitating the threaded stud mount.

Button WiFi6 compact low profile antenna

The Button WiFi6 compact antenna is a full spectrum WiFi low profile antenna designed for permanent mounting onto any flat surface. Mounting via a 14mm threaded stud, this antenna offers wideband WiFi connectivty in a robust, but small form factor package making it ideal for indoor and outdoor applications such as telemetry, routers and gateways, kiosks and smart terminals.

With consistent gain figures across the bands and IP67 rated when mounted correctly on a flat surface, the Button WiFi6 compact antenna is a neat solution for outdoor cabinet and enclosure installations where an external antenna is required, but antenna size has to be kept to a minimum. The antenna is fed by a 1M RG174 cable as standard and terminated in either a RP-SMA or SMA connector.

CFO Compact Fibreglass Omni Outdoor Antenna

The CFO Compact Fibreglass Omni Outdoor antenna is a very compact solution providing 4G/5G access. Based around 145mm long Fibregalss sheath, the CFO offers robust performance in a small form-factor.

Operating over a wideband from 617 to 7125 MHz, the CFO covers the majority of 4G/5G frequencies worldwide. It is supplied with a stainless steel L-bracket for wall-mounting and is terminated in a N-Female connector. VSWR across the bands is less than 3:1.

Ideal for 4G/5G access applications, including security, CCTV, telemetry systems, kiosks, vending and industrial cellular deployments, it’s compact size offers a discreet solution whilst the materials use facilitate long-term use without degradation.

WCO-450-MIMO-WMB 450 MHz MIMO Wall-Mount Omni Antenna

The WCO-450-MIMO-WMB is an outdoor MIMO omni antenna. It is based on our popular WCO antenna platform. The gain of each element is 2 dBi and it is complemented by RF195 and RF240 low loss cables. The antennas are mounted on a stainless steel bracket which can be easily affixed to a wall.

Ideal for LTE 450 and UHF applications where MIMO or diversity functionality is required, the WCO-450-MIMO-WMB is robust and durable.  This makes it very suitable for industrial and commercial applications where antenna durabilty is a key elment of the installation. The antenna elements are constructed using a UV-resistant Luran sheath and use the stainless steel bracket as a ground plane. Both antennas are terminated in a N-Female connector.

LoRa Sigfox outdoor omnis address terminal mount applications

LoRa Sigfox outdoor omnis from EAD are ideal for terminal and enclosure mounting. They are based on our WCO (Waterproof Compact Omni) antenna platform. Using either N-Female through-hole mount or N-Male connectors, they are robust and durable and offer consistent RF performance.

The antenna element is housed in a UV-resistant, black Luran Sheath. The sheath measures approximately 116mm in overall length and is screwed and bonded onto the barrel of the connector for durability.

868 915 MHz Antennas offer new options for connectivity

Two new 868 915 MHz antennas from EAD offer more choices for connectivity in 868 MHz and 915 MHz applications. Addressing deployments such as LoRa, Sigfox and other unlicensed frequency band systems, the Button 868/915 and the Wall-Blade offer designers and installers more flexibility when rolling out wireless systems.

The Button 868/915 antenna is a compact low profile puck antenna designed to be mounted onto a groundplane (i.e. metal surface) such as a cabinet, enclosure, kiosk or roof. Permanently mounted via a threaded stud underneath, the antenna is fed by a single cable and supports both 868 MHz and 915 MHz frequencies. It measures just 62.7mm in diameter and 27.5mm in height and offers a robust, discreet solution for modems, gateways and access devices where an antenna needs to be mounted externally.

The Wall-Blade antenna is an effective wall-mounted blade antenna for 868 and 915 MHz with small dimensions to enable unobtrusive installation either indoors or outdoors as required. It is supplied with bracket and fixtures for mounting and is fed by a 3M cable and SMA-Male as standard. The Wall-Blade offers reliable and consistent performance in both bands and is an innovative alternative to standard tube-style omni-directional antennas.

Button 868 915 MHz Low Profile Puck Antenna

The Button 868 915 MHz compact low profile antenna is a discreet screw-mounted puck antenna. Supporting 868 MHz and 915 MHz frequencies, this robust antenna is mounted via a 14mm mounting hole for permanent mounting. Measuring just 62.5mm in diameter and 27.5mm in height, the Button 868 915 MHz compact antenna is one of the smallest low profile ISM band antennas on the market. The Button 868 915 Mhz antenna when mounted securely onto a flat metal surface is waterproof rated to IP67.

This antenna is ideal for LoRA and licence-free applications such as wireless security, vending and retail kiosks as well as access applications where a small permanently mounted antenna is required.

Various cable and connector options can be configured. Typical connectors include SMA, FME, CRC9, TS9, MCX and MMCX.

Button LTE Compact Low Profile Puck Antenna

The Button LTE compact low profile antenna is a discreet screw-mounted puck antenna. Supporting frequencies from 690-2690 MHz, this robust antenna is mounted via a 14mm mounting hole for permanent mounting. Measuring just 62.5mm in diameter and 27.5mm in height, the Button LTE compact antenna is one of the smallest low profile LTE antennas on the market. Peak gain ranges from 1.75 dBi in the low band to 4.31 dBi in the upper band. The Button LTE antenna when mounted securely onto a flat metal surface is waterproof rated to IP67.

This antenna is ideal for LTE and NB-IoT applications such as security, retail and access applications where a small permanently mounted antenna is required.

LTE wideband stub antenna newly introduced by EAD

EAD has today introduced a new LTE wideband stub antenna. The LTE Stubby is a 1/4 wave, compact, robust antenna for LTE terminals and modems.

Measuring no longer than 68.1mm in overall length, the LTE Stubby is offered as standard with a SMA-Male straight or SMA-Male right angle connnector. It requires a groundplane to operate effectively and covers the LTE frequency bands from 700-2700 MHz with a VSWR of less than 3:1.

It complements EAD’s LTE terminal offering including the WTR7270 and the WTS7270 antennas.

LTE Stubby Antenna wideband stub antenna for LTE

The LTE Stubby antenna is a 1/4 wave, compact, stub antenna designed for 700-2700 MHz LTE applications. Ideally suited to complement modems and terminals where a discreet, but robust antenna is require, the LTE Stubby offers an innovative solution for deployment.

Based on the popular Targan antennas, as standard the LTE Stubby  is housed in a durable, black acetal sheath that is screwed onto a either a SMA-Male straight or SMA-Male right angle connector. With a VSWR across the bands of better than 3:1 the LTE Stubby offers effective performance for its size and facilitates support for worldwide LTE bands.

The LTE stubby has an overall length of 68.1mm for the SMA-Male straight version or 65mm for the SMA-Male Right angle version.

Waterproof Compact Omni Antenna UHF options

The Waterproof Compact Omni Antenna UHF range from EAD is based on a modular platform of components. This modular approach allows us to build a full range of antennas at various frequencies and connectors.

The main standard components are an injection-moulded UV-resistant Luran sheath, a connector barrel and an antenna element.

UHF frequencies that we can address with the WCO UHF include:

380 MHz
430 MHz
433 MHz
450 MHz
459 MHz
868 MHz

WCO-450-WMB – 450 MHz Compact Outdoor Omni

The WCO-450-WMB is a 450 MHz compact outdoor omni antenna designed for wall-mount applications for providing access to 450-470 MHz LTE or UHF networks.

Based on our WCO-XX-WMB platform, this antenna is comprised of a UV-resistant, flame retardant sheath and stainless steel L-bracket for wall-mounting. This antenna combined with low loss extension cables such as RF240 is an effective and discreet solution for installations where the antenna cannot be located close to the router or radio.

Other versions for the WCO-XX-WMB include 2.4 GHz and 433 MHz. 915 and 868 MHz versions are also available. For WCO-450-WMB pricing and lead times, please contact us.

WCO-433-WMB – 433 MHz compact outdoor wall mount antenna

The WCO-433-WMB is a 433 MHz compact outdoor wall mount antenna based on a durable 1/4 Wave 433 MHz antenna designed for outdoor deployments. It is supplied as a wall-mount option and mounted on a sturdy L-Bracket which functions as the groundplane for the antenna. It is possible to use the WCO-433 antenna to mount directly onto an enclosure, please contact EAD for this type of application.

Housed in the robust, waterproof, UV-resistant and flame retardent WCO Sheath, the antenna mounts onto a the L-bracket by way of  N-Female connector and is held in place with a nut and washer. The construction of this antenna is very durable and also very compact making it ideal for outdoor deployments for a variety of ISM-band applications including security and telemetry applications.

A jumper cable with N-Male should be used to connect the WCO-433 to the radio.

This antenna design can be customised to different frequencies in the 380-512 MHz band including TETRA 380-400 MHz, 410-430 MHz or 450 MHz.

The WCO-2400-WMB is a similar antenna but operating at 2.4 GHz.

WCO-2400-WMB – compact outdoor WLAN wall mount antenna

The WCO-2400-WMB is a compact outdoor WLAN wall mount antenna designed for continuous outdoor deployment. Housed in a flame-retardant, UV-resistant sheath, the WCO antenna is mounted onto a stainless steel L-bracket for permanent outdoor mounting.

The WCO-2400-WMB antenna offers 2 dBi gain across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, the WCO-2400-WMB is fed by a N-Female connector underneath and mates to custom jumper cables as the installation requires. The cables could be short extension cables or low loss jumper cables for longer cable runs.

Other frequencies are available in the same form factor – 433 MHz, 868 MHz and pentaband GSM/3G.

As an alternative, you could consider the CPW 2.4 / 5 GHz puck antenna on a wall-mount L-bracket.
