Active GPS Stub Antenna with Right Angle SMA

The unique GPS-Stubby from EAD is the only active GPS stub antenna with either SMA-Male straight or SMA-Male right angle.

Some GPS-based terminal and devices are not suitable for straight GPS stub antennas. Our GPS-Stubby right angle version solves this problem.

The GPS-Stubby is an active antenna with an integrated LNA (low noise amplifier) to enhance signal reception. Housed in a robust, aesthetically attractive sheath, the antenna is ideal for systems where an embedded internal antenna or a magnetic mount antenna cannot be used.

For customers in Europe, you can purchase small quantities of the GPS-Stubby antenna via the Connex Webshop. For all other requests, please contact your local EAD distributor.

GPS36xx – Internal active GPS patch antennas

The GPS36xx is a range of internal active GPS patch antennas with various gain specifications designed for building into GPS-enabled terminals and devices.

The GPS3620 is a compact internal active GPS antenna element designed to be integrated into mobile devices. The GPS3620 is primarily designed for portable tracking devices and compact terminals requiring GPS functionality.

The GPS3620 has dimensions of 20x20x6mm and a LNA gain figure of 20 dB.

The GPS3620 is available with a U.FL compatible or MMCX RA cable/connector configuration. Please contact us for more information on the cable/connector options.

A 15 dB gain version called the GPS3615 and a 26 dB gain version called the GPS3626 also available.

There is a passive version of this called the GPS3602 available.

GPS-Stubby – robust GPS active stub antenna

The GPS-Stubby antenna is an innovative GPS active stub antenna supplied in a robust sheath and terminated in either a SMA-Male Straight or SMA-Male Right Angle connector. Designed for applications where an internal GPS antenna is unsuitable and where a standard patch antenna with cable is not practical, the GPS-Stubby offers a compact and cost-effective stubby antenna solution.

The SMA-Male right angle version is a unique GPS Stub solution enabling applications where a straight SMA-Male connector would be cumbersome or awkward.

With an integrated LNA, the effective gain of the GPS-Stubby is 26 dB. The GPS-Subby is housed in compact dimensions of 67×18.5mm (dxh).

The GPS-Stubby antenna does not currently support GLONASS.

For low volume requirements, customers in Europe can source the GPS-Stubby from the Connex webshop.
