450-470 MHz Platch antenna ideal for utilities applications

EAD’s very compact low profile 450-470 MHz Platch antenna is now available. Based on a 10mm high, robust radome, the Platch 450 is ideal for wireless communications using the 450 MHz band, including for utilities, metering, monitoring, park systems and LTE450 deployments.

Surface-mountable via three mounting holes or using high grade adhesive, the Platch 450 is fed by a cable underneath so no cable is visible from above. The Platch antenna is fully sealed and waterproof and is suitable for groundlevel installations.

As standard, the 450-470 MHz Platch antenna is supplied with a 1M RG174 cable and SMA-Male connector, however other cable length and connector options are possible.

A 14mm high 4G/LTE Platch antenna for 4G/LTE based utilities applications will be available in November 2023 as will an 868 MHz single band version.
