VHF Antennas

SAS supplies a wide range of antennas for a variety of applications in the VHF frequency bands. From VHF low profile antennas for height critical transportation applications through to VHF omni and yagis for high gain fixed radio deployments, we have a number of options based on mounting, cable/connector or frequency parameters.
 

SH-1002

The SH-1002 antenna has been designed for broad frequency coverage with linear polarisation. The 1002 is mounted on an insulating tube and is centre-fed with an integral choke balun.

With nominal frequency coverage from 130-550 MHz, the 1002 provides a unique antenna solution for fixed site applications covering VHF and UHF frequencies.

In typical applications, with 15M of low loss cable, the typical VSWR seen by the transmitter is under 2:1 from 130-1000 MHz.
